YWNA members are invited to join with local historian Isaac Douglas Hermann on a walking tour to honour the memory of YWNA committee member and fearless local campaigner, Geoff Love. Lace up your walking shoes, grab your water bottle, and join us for some fascinating insights as walk from the sea to the reserve.

This event is open to all YWNA members, though spots are limited.

The tour starts at the Elwood Pier at 3pm- which is at the end of Head St in Elwood and we will be walking approximately 1.5 km to the Yalukit Willam Nature Reserve. Please wear appropriate clothing for walking, good footwear and remember sun protection.

You are welcome to stay in the reserve for the rest of the YWNA celebrations which includes a Plant Lab/SPA tour at 5pm and an evening event (6-9pm)at the Elwood Bowls Club. There will be presentations and refreshments as we share latest news on the Yalukit Willam Nature Reserve and the YWNA volunteer effort. If you do wish to join later please RSVP to the Bowls Club event separately. You do not need to RSVP for the Plant Lab tour.

The event is free but you are welcome to make a donation to the YWNA Go Fund Me annual appeal to help with YWNA activities.
